Traveling Golfers and Mobile Phone Charging Cables

Never Leave Home Again

By Brian Weis

Last year walking through the airport in route to a five day buddy's golf vacation, I realized I left my iPhone 5 charging cable attached to my computer. The panic set in immediately realizing my battery would be drained within the first 24 hours of my trip. Thankfully, in the airport terminal I was able to purchase a cable and return to smart phone equilibrium.

As a gadget guy, I am always intruding on the latest technology for on and off the golf course. My latest quest was to find a convenient and/or emergency cable that by design would always be with me or attached to my travel gear so it could not be left behind.

Some quick research revealed three amazing new products soon to be launched by Nomad.

1) NomadClip - $39
The nomad clip is a carabineer shaped clip that transforms in to a mobile charging cable. The clip can be attached to your keep chain, travel bag or laptop case.

2) NomadKey - $29
Similar to the NomadClip, the NomadKey is a portable smartphone cable in the shape of a house-key. It is designed to fit onto your keychain just like a house-key, so you'll always have a smartphone cable in your pocket.

3) NomadCard - $29
NomadCard is a thin smartphone cable that's designed to fit into even the slimmest wallet. It works like your normal cable for charging and syncing your phone - plug one end into a USB port and the other end into your mobile device.
