The spring 2010 Antigua Women's Performance collection takes new direction with 3 innovative and opulent product groups entitled: Chic, Elegance and Luxe.

The Chic collection features the "Blossom" color palette. Shades of rich pink, natural and white give this group a fresh yet refined look. All fabrics are treated with Antigua's Desert Dry" moisture wicking properties and are lightweight and soft. Styles like Majestic and Demure use tonal and contrast birdseye pique which contribute to the collections fresh approach to classic fabrications. For the first time we have introduced a lightweight, nylon blend sweater- which can be paired with any polo in the collection and offers just the right amount of warmth while maintaining ease of movement.

The Luxe collection uses the decadent "Midnight" color palette, featuring deep blues, earthy grays and natural tones which gives a quality of sophistication to the overall appearance of this group. Styles such as Flourish and Impeccable use Desert Dry" Xtra-Lite fabrics which are both moisture wicking and lightweight, without being too sheer.

The Elegance collection features the "Concord" color palette, which uses shades of plum, light gray and black. This group has a slightly preppy feel to it, with argyle and houndstooth as running themes. Styles such as Prim and Proper use argyle jacquard patterns, and style Retro features all over houndstooth embossing.

There are also several key basic styles that are run in all colors, and can be paired with any of the other collections. Basic styles such as the Women's Exceed group which consist of a short sleeve polo, sleeveless and long sleeve polo styles and use our Desert Dry" Xtra-Lite fabric. Outerwear styles such as Ritzy offer 2 looks in one garment. Ritzy is a reversible vest, featuring a water resistant solid color woven shell, and a medium weight, contrast color, embossed knit inside. This style provides for maximum versatility, allowing you to choose which side is most suitable for your golf experience.

Antigua's new Desert Dry" Xtra-Lite is an extremely light fabric without being sheer. The three-dimensional construction is what makes the fabric extremely light without being sheer or see-through. In addition, Desert Dry" Xtra-Lite wicks away moisture even faster that Antigua's proprietary Desert Dry" , a performance fabric the company created several years ago when it introduced its performance category for golf.

"We're very excited about our new Desert Dry" Xtra-Lite technology," says Ron McPherson, president of Antigua. "We feel there is a consumer who will really appreciate the Desert Dry" Xtra-Lite product and we have developed a special logo and hangtag for these garments."
