What Tips or Local Knowledge Would You Provide To Help Them Score Better At Your Course?
Long drives are not required but there is a premium placed on accuracy from the tee. Our small target greens will also test your iron play. Straight shots will be rewarded with makable birdie opportunities while errant shot will likely find a hazard, strategically placed by Arthur Hills. This is a true shot makers golf course.

Recent Awards or What You Are Most Proud About The Course?
Our accolades include a "Must Play" by Golf Magazine, and a "4 Stars" rating from Golf Digest.

Site of the Big South Ladies Golf Championship and South Carolina State Amateur Qualifying.

What Is The Signature, Most Talked About, or Most Photographed Hole?
Our signature hole is the par 3 #11. This hole can be stretched out to 240 yards from the back tees. Two water hazards must be avoided along with two greenside bunkers to successfully hit the green. Once on the green, the most undulating surface on the course created by Arthur Hills awaits you for the final challenge of the hole. A true test of a par 3.

What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It?
My favorite hole is the par 4 #5. This hole plays over 400 yards from the back tees. Arthur Hills did a superb job of concealing one of the widest fairways on the course with strategic oak trees placed down the left side of the hole and 2 fairway bunkers down the right side to give the illusion of a narrow fairway. A large two tiered green with a greenside bunker on the right awaits if you can navigate the last oak tree located in the left side of the fairway. Par here is always a good score.

Must Have Dish or Drink after the round at the 19th Hole?
Relax in the Palmetto Grill while enjoying our now famous chicken wings with multiple sauce options. These are a big hit with golfers after their round. Wash the wings down with one of our local, seasonal brews on tap and you'll have the perfect finish to a wonderful day at Coosaw Creek Country Club.

Who Holds Course Record and What Was Their Score?
Our men's course record is held by Duke stand out, Austin Cody, who made a hole in one on hole #3 in route to his 63 from our back tees. His score broke the previous course record of 65 by two strokes which was shared by Club Pro, Mike Benner.

Our ladies course record of 66 was shot by Aruka Feigeuroso of Coastal Carolina University during the 2009 Ladies Big South Championship. And yes, she shot the record score while playing from our men's white tees.
