Vacation Myrtle Beach Golf

By Brian Weis

Tell me a little about the origins of Vacation Myrtle Beach Golf and how it has grown.
Vacation Myrtle Beach Golf was formed when the SOLAR RESORT PROPERTIES consisting of 8 Oceanfront resorts combined efforts with ENDLESS FUN RESORTS consisting of 4 Oceanfront Resorts. The Endless Fun Resorts (Ocean Creek Resort, Beach Cove Resort, Sea Watch Resort, and The Caravelle Resort) had already established a golf-promotion arm of their marketing efforts. Each resort along with several area golf courses contributed marketing dollars to promote golf in Myrtle Beach. Specific packages where developed allowing golf travelers to select an accommodation and a variety of area courses to customize a golf package that fit their specific needs. When Solar and Endless Fun combined forces, three of the Solar Resort properties also promoted golf (Landmark Resort, Beach Colony Resort and Captains Quarters Resort) so these three properties were added to the accommodation choices and the name was changed from Endless Fun to Vacation Myrtle Beach Golf and the group has been promoting under that name for the past five years.

What separates it from other golf package companies?
In addition to booking great golf packages from the Vacation Myrtle Beach Golf website, visitors to the site can win a dream golf vacation as well as golf merchandise. The website also feature a quick quote system that allows the golf trip planner to customize packages and get instant quotes to compare. Course photo galleries and property videos are available so that golfers can make an informed decision of where they want to stay and play. Of course Golf Directors are standing by to help you in the decision making process if you prefer to call to book your trip.

Where do you draw your clients from?
Our golf clients come from all over the world. The majority of them however are heavily concentrated each of the Mississippi river particularly in the Carolinas, Virginias, New York, New Jersey, Ohio and a number of other states in the northeast and mid-atlantic.

Anything new that we need to talk about for the coming year?
New package deals and more courses will be added to the 2013 Vacation Myrtle Beach Golf program. Golfers are encouraged to book early for the best tee times on golf course selections.
