- Stylin' and Profilin' for Fall 2019!

By David Theoret

When it comes to golf apparel technology, FootJoy is at the forefront. Many pieces from their 2018 Fall men's and women's golf apparel collection feature technology that wicks moisture away from the body and keeps you cool and dry during your round as well as an anti-microbial finish to keep you smelling fresh. Most tops and bottoms for men and women also feature UPF sun protection and a unique 4-way stretch fabric which is extremely breathable.

FootJoy offers women a lot of choices when it comes to golf apparel. Their Interlock Sleeveless Golf Polo offers ladies a piece of golf apparel that combines performance and comfort. The breathable 4-way stretch ProDry fabric moves with you through every phase of your golf swing. This sleeveless polo features a mock color and zippered placket with an attractive stripe design. The Interlock Color Block Sleeveless Polo is available in sizes XS - XL and in three color combinations: White/Black/Red, Sky/White/Charcoal, or Black/Heather Grey/White . Retail price is $72.

The short sleeve Women's ProDry Interlock Golf Shirt is very similar to the sleeveless garment and the double stitched seams offer added durability. It features a knit collar and 4-button placket and comes in sizes XS - XL and in a variety of bright cheerful colors. Look and feel your best for only $65.

The Lisle V-Neck Golf Shirt is another comfortable piece of ladies golf wear with ProDry fabric technology. The contrasting color on the shoulders makes a good looking polo look that much better. The Lisle V-Neck Short Sleeve polo is available in sizes XS - XL and in a few color combinations: Sky Space Dye/White, Red Space Dye/White, or Black Space Dye/White. Retail price is $72.

FootJoy's Raglan Base Layer is a non-restricting constructed shirt that fits closely to the skin and helps regulate body temperature without interrupting your golf swing. It's specifically designed for golfers with a crew neck collar for added range of motion and comfort and the thumb holes on the cuffs to help keep your hands warm with an added level of athletic styling. The Raglan Base Layer is available in sizes XS - XL and in Heather Gray or Sky/White. Retail price is $78.

A good looking and function ladies golf skort is the Pocket Trim Knit Skort. It offers contemporary styling and is sewn from a breathable 4 way stretch fabric that moves with you through your swing and the double stitched seams bring added durability. As the name suggests, three pockets provide ample room for all of your golf accessories and scorecard. The easy to care for fabric is machine washable with minimal wrinkling or shrinkage. This Pocket Trim Knit Skort is available in sizes XS - XL and in either Red or Sky. Retail price is $85.

On cool fall days, you need something to keep your lower half warm and the Color-Block Leggings do the trick. The breathable 4-way stretch fabric and 4-way stretch waistband give these leggings a mid-rise fit and lets them move with you while providing additional comfort. The double stitched seams provide added durability. The Color-Block Leggings are available in sizes XS - XL and in Black/Charcoal Heather/Red or Charcoal Heather/Sky/White. Retail price is $85.

When it comes to golf apparel, FootJoy is probably best known for their men's polos; it's what we saw many touring pros wear on TV back in the day. The company offers several polos made from lisle, including their Space Dye Stripe Self Color Polo, which features a lock stitched hem that provides both a tailored look and reinforced construction and an extra-long back shirt tail to make tucking it in a breeze. The double stitched seams provide added durability and add life to the polo. The Space Dye Stripe Self Color Polo has a three-button placket and self-collar. The easy care fabric resists wrinkles and shrinkage. The Lisle Space Dye Stripe Self Color Polo is available in sizes S - 3XL and several colors: Charcoal, Cobalt, Lavender, Island Pink, Black, Honeydew and Navy. Retail price is $75. Want something with a little more flair? Try the Diamond Print Lisle Self Color Polo; same shirt, different print. It's available in sizes S - XXL and in Island Pink/White, Blue Marlin/White, White/Navy or Red/White. Retail price is the same $75.

Another style sewn from the same material is the Lisle Feeder Stripe Knit Collar. It has all of the same performance features as the other polos including ProDry, a stretch fabric that remains extremely comfortable through every phase of your golf swing. The Lisle Feeder Stripe Knit Collar is available in sizes S - 3XL and in several colors: Black/Grey, Red/White, Navy/White, or Royal/White. Retail price is $68.
The Stretch Pique Self Collar Polo is a FootJoy staple. It's the quintessential solid color golf polo with a self-collar and striped 3-button placket. There's an embroidered FJ Logo on the back yoke of the neck. It's available in sizes S - 3XL and in Red, Light Green, Black, White and Navy. Retail price is $65.

These are just a few apparel pieces from FootJoy's 2018 Fall Collection, apparel that will have you looking and feeling your best. Hopefully you can play as well as you look. About: David Theoret

David Theoret David Theoret has been in the golf and golf travel industry for over 10 years, primarily selling online advertising. For the past seven years, he has also been a golf writer, reviewing golf courses, resorts, destinations, equipment, golf apparel, and training aids - the latter of which never seems to help. David's articles and reviews have been posted on many golf travel and equipment websites.

Growing up in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, it was naturally assumed he would play hockey. Beginning at the age of 3 and continuing into his late 30's, he did just that. However, after one too many pucks to the head, he realized that golf was a lot easier on the body (whoever said hockey players were slow) and took the game up.

After moving to Florida and accepting a position with TravelGolf Media (now part of GolfNow) his love for the game grew exponentially. Most Saturdays you will find him on a course somewhere in Florida or on the practice range reinforcing his bad habits. David plays to a 10 handicap - unless there is money involved in which case it goes considerably higher. He currently resides in Lakeland, FL with his wife Belinda and their two "kids", Madyson and Molly.
