On the lighter side

with Rick Quick

Vacations are supposed to be relaxing.  While in Hawaii we were told the road to Hano was a must do!  It’s touted as a winding scenic 52 mile trip with ocean views, waterfalls , restaurants and beaches! Sounds perfect! Well it was 52 miles of hell!  It had 56 one lane bridges and over 600 curves. Speeds of 15 miles an hour seemed fast and the locals passed you like your on the thruway! It was 2 hands on the wheel both ways. It took all day and was definitely not relaxing. But hey, at least I got a tee shirt that says I survived the road to Hano!

Have a great week!
