NEMACOLIN WOODLANDS RESORT WELCOMES BACK PGA MASTER PROFESSIONAL DENNIS CLARK AS ITS NEW DIRECTOR OF INSTRUCTION

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, a 2,000 acre premier luxury resort destination located in the Laurel Highlands of Southwestern Pennsylvania announced today that Dennis Clark, PGA Master Professional and former Nemacolin Director of Golf from 2004 - 2012, has returned as the resort's new Director of Instruction.

A native of Pennsylvania, Dennis Clark has been a golf professional for over 25 years. In 2004, Dennis was awarded the prestigious title of Master PGA Professional, a distinction held by less than two percent of PGA members. Recognized throughout the country for his golf instruction skills, Clark holds no less than seven PGA awards including: PGA Teacher of the Year, Philadelphia Section; Golf Professional of the Year, Tri State Section; and PGA President's Plaque Award for Promotion and Growth of the Game, Tri State Section.

Dennis Clark served as Host Professional during Nemacolin's 84 Lumber Classic, a PGA Tour event and he initiated the resort's Falling Rock Classic, one of the most popular club professional tournaments in the nation, during his previous tenure with the property. Most recently, Clark instructed at his own school, The Dennis Clark Academy at the Marco Island Marriott in Naples, Florida.

As the new Director of Instruction, Clark will oversee The Nemacolin Golf Academy, which offers instruction, club fittings and skill analysis with the state-of-the-art TrackMan® Golf Radar Solution, an industry leading instruction technology. Private lessons may also be booked specifically with Clark.

"It is an honor to welcome back Dennis Clark," says Alan Fike, Director of Golf at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. "Clark's impressive list of accomplishments from the PGA and industry leaders will be a huge asset to our resort and to golfers looking for the knowledge and experience Clark can bring to their game."

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is recognized as a destination golf resort. Host of the 84 Lumber Classic from 2002 - 2006, Mystic Rock has been honored nationally by Golf Digest and Golfweek. In July 2015, Nemacolin announced its partnership and plans with legendary golf course designer, Pete Dye, on a $6 million 9-hole expansion to Mystic Rock. The addition is slated to open in summer of 2017.
