Limited Access To Otherwise Sold Out 2012 PGA Championship

If you want to be a spectator at the Ocean Course when the world's best golfers converge upon Kiawah Island for the 94th PGA Championship this August, you have to act fast. Individual tickets to the weekend rounds were sold out by last December and 94% of the ground passes for the other days are also gone; however, several Charleston area hotels have released a limited number of PGA packages that allow guests to attend any day of Championship week play (August 6 - 12, 2012) with a special "one-day, any-day" pass.

Listed on PGAPackages.com, these new packages are the only way to score a Friday - Sunday pass onto the Pete Dye-designed course made famous in 1991 during the riveting Ryder Cup matches known as the "War on the Shore." The mystique surrounding the windswept course has grown significantly since that hotly contested tournament held more than two decades ago, so much so,tournament-long passes for the 2012 PGA Championship sold out faster than for any previous PGA Championship.

Worth noting: each ticket or "one-day, any-day" pass is valid for one adult admission plus up to four accompanying juniors (up to the age of 17).
