In 2012 our owner, Mike Eller, was playing Whistling Straits on his annual golfing trip with his friends. As he was coming down #13 fairway, when he heard a cow bell. He looked around him and saw a herd of sheep coming from behind. He was so awestruck that at that moment he made the decision to get Scottish Blackface sheep. We started out with 12 ewes and 1 ram. We have had as many as 65. They roam the course all day and are very friendly.
