Club Crown - A Revolution in Club Personalization

Club Crown - A Revolution in Club Personalization

An Interview With Brendan Doyle - President of ClubCrown

By Brian Weis

The funniest oxymoron in golf, above and beyond the term "metal woods" is the phrase "golf fashion". Well, okay that joke might have been funny in the 1980's. Today, clothing designers have pimped the golf industry with wild colors, bright matching pants and accessories that can give you the flair on the fairways.

Thanks to ClubCrown you can now personalize your driver and woods to match your fashion sense or to show your team spirit.

I had the opportunity to ask Brendan Doyle, President of ClubCrown, a few questions about his product that is changing the look of the game.

1) What is Club Crown?
ClubCrown is a durable, semi-permanent adhesive placed on the crown of your driver. Club Crown is available in a number of patterns and designs.

Check out our video, it sums it up nicely!

2) Does it impact the swing?
No!!!!!!!!!!

The ClubCrowns adds 2 grams, roughly 1% of your club head weight and conforms with USGA rules and The Rules of Golf

3) What are the hot selling designs?
All of our collegiate licenses have been extremely well received and taken our sales and growth to the next level. Of our original designs, the American Flag, Carbon Fiber, Flaming Ball, Flaming Skull and ALL spider designs are top sellers.

4) Do you do customizations for companies, brand and golf courses? (What is involved?)
We have already worked with several high profile companies and courses in designing custom ClubCrowns for them, most notably Pinehurst. ClubCrowns provide them with a great opportunity to brand their logo. The only stipulation is a 12 order minimum, with complimentary design and setup provided.

5) Where can one buy them, how are these applied or who puts them on?
They are available online or at a local distributor. The website www.clubcrown.com has a list of local distributors by state. A certified installer must apply the wrap.

6) How can golfers get more information or follow you?

In 2007, the idea for a network of local golf directory sites formed and GolfTrips.com was born. Today, the network consists of a site in all 50 states supported by national sites like GolfTrips.com, GolfGuide.com and GolfPackages.com. It is an understatement to say, Brian is passionate about promoting golf and golf travel on a local, regional, national and international level.
