New for Summer from Tail Activewear
The Deco Vibe Collection Review
By David Theoret
Tail Activewear, a popular golf brand for women, continues to wow the industry with the release of their latest collection - Deco Vibe. The collection s skorts, capris, tops and dresses in a variety of designs and patterns, many featuring their Hot Pink color - Tulip.
Speaking of tulip, the Tulip Kaylin Skort is sewn from the company's Bi-Stretch woven material which is 89% Polyester/11% Spandex giving it extra stretch to help get through the entire golf swing. It also boasts a UPF factor of 50, keeping you protected from the sun's harmful elements. The modern pull-on design has built in shorts for added modesty and confidence, 2 front zippered pockets to keep your golf necessities safe and secure and a single back pocket with the Tail logo on it. The Kaylin Skort is available in Tulip only and in sizes 2-18. Retail price is $89.
Tail's Darby Skort is made from their Performance Jersey material with the same amount of stretch. It too has a classic pull-on fit with built-in shorts. The Vibe pattern of the skort is cut one inch shorter than the Kaylin Skort, allowing you to show off more leg and with UPF 50 protection, you need not worry about the sun. Two zippered front pockets and a welted back pocket keep your valuables and scorecard secure. The Darby "Vibe" Skort is available in sizes 2-18 and has a retail price of $89 as well.
The Deco Vibe Collection is not without its share of tops. The Maya Top pairs well with several pieces in the Deco Vibe collection and has a truly unique look. The 91% Polyester/9% Spandex Performance Jersey Fabric has enough stretch that it won't pinch or bind. This sleeveless top features a mock neck and zippered placket with white trim around the zipper and a white stripe in collar. With UPF 50 protection, you won't have to give the sun another thought. The Maya Top is available in Tulip and in sizes S-XL. Retail price is $79.
The Charice Top is a sleeveless polo in a fun Deco print. Its sewn from the same fabric as the Maya, has the same sun protection and is semi-fitted. The snap placket and convertible collar are trimmed in black, adding a sharp contrast to the Deco White/Black/Tulip print. The Charice Top is available in sizes XS-XL and retails for $79.
Tail's Avaline Top is another figure flattening design from Tail. This semi-fitted polo is also crafted from the same fabrics as the other tops listed above and features a sleeveless design with a mock neck and zippered placket trimmed in black. UPF 50 keeps you protected from the sun and the 25" length provides all the coverage you'll need. This White polo features contrasting black piping on the shoulders creating a look not many others will have on the course. The Avaline Top is available in sizes XS_XL and retails for $79.
And now for something completely different - The Fannie Top. This garment is more runway than fairway and will definitely turn some heads. Sewn from the same material as the Maya and Charice tops, this sleeveless polo has a mock neck with zippered placket and a UPF 50 finish. But what sets this top apart is the wild Tulip and White design that produces a hypnotic effect. The Fannie Top is available in sizes XS-XL and retails for $85. Watch out, it may produce flashbacks!
Tail continues its effort to make the golf dress an everyday part of a ladies' golf wardrobe and the Laurelle Dress is a step in the right direction. The 91% Polyester/9% Spandex Performance Jersey fabric has UPF 50 sun protection and enough stretch that it moves with you through your swing, without pinching or binding. The overlapping Mandarin collar gives way to a snap placket with a Tulip underside and the front zippered pockets are cut on a slant for easy accessibility. Mesh inserts at the shoulders and hemline help to keep you cool and the accompanying shorties add a certain level of modesty. The Deco print is a real head turner! The Laurelle Dress is available in sizes XS-XL with a retail price of $99; a small price to pay to look so good!
If you're looking for more coverage on the legs or just don't feel that shorts and skorts suit your style, check out Tail's Milano Capri pants. They are made from Tail's Bi-Stretch Performance Fabric, which has a good deal of stretch. These pull-on capris feature UPF 40 sun protection and jean pockets, making them easy to get your hands in and out. The Milano Capri Pants are available in sizes 2-18 and in three colors: Black, White and Khaki. Retail price is $93.

Growing up in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, it was naturally assumed he would play hockey. Beginning at the age of 3 and continuing into his late 30's, he did just that. However, after one too many pucks to the head, he realized that golf was a lot easier on the body (whoever said hockey players were slow) and took the game up.
After moving to Florida and accepting a position with TravelGolf Media (now part of GolfNow) his love for the game grew exponentially. Most Saturdays you will find him on a course somewhere in Florida or on the practice range reinforcing his bad habits.
