Greater Miami has plenty to brag about when it comes to golf courses. We feature some of the most difficult courses in the world, and some courses have been rated in the top 10 courses by Golfweek. With courses as impressive as those, it's little wonder that a number of great professional golf tournaments call our city home. We even have the only public Miami Beach golf course in the Continental U.S. utilizing Paspalum grass.
Greater Miami and the Beaches is home to one of four World Golf Championship events, the CA Championship, which features the top 50 players from the Official World Golf Ranking along with top finishers on the money lists of the six Tours comprising the International Federation of PGA Tours (PGA TOUR, European Tour, Australasian Tour, Japan Golf Tour, Asian Tour and Sunshine Tour).
The Club At Emerald Hills
The Club at Emerald Hills will be a highlight of any golf outing or trip. It offers perfectly manicured lush rolling fairways and undulated well protected greens. The golf course underwent an extensive redesign in 1989 and the greens were renovated to Tif Eagle Bermuda in 2000. The golf course offers an excellent combination of hole designs and truly great golf. As the host site for the Doral and The Honda Qualifier's for ten years, Emerald Hills has also been chosen as the host site for the U.S. Open, U.S. Amateur, U.S. Mid-Amateur, and U.S. Public Links qualifiers. The Club at Emerald Hills displays a harmonious blend of undulating greens, contoured bunkers and hills, all meticulously maintained to guarantee you the challenge of a lifetime. The Club at Emerald Hills has the best of all golf worlds and will be the highlight of your trip. It's tough to get a tee time here, for there are many loyal players; however, TeeBone can get you on. Centrally located just west of Ft. Lauderdale, this layout is very Interesting, extremely challenging from the tips, and always well manicured.
