Ogio Golf Apparel - Fall 2016

As Ogio continues to make headway with their golf apparel, their 2016 Fall Collection shows that they are on the right track. Ogio's Golf apparel is inspired by some of the world's leading fashion and performance trends, as well as their own unique culture. Currently, their Golf Brand Ambassadors include Aaron Baddley, Kevin Streelman and Chris Stroud. Here are just a few pieces that we saw.

Ogio's Ewan Polo is made from their 95% Polyester/5% Spandex mini pique fabric which is free motion and stretch infused - a fancy way of saying it will move with you through your golf swing without grabbing you where it shouldn't. The moisture wicking and anti-bacterial properties keep you dry and smelling good throughout your round, and the polo's UV protection keeps you protected from the sun. the hidden 3-button placket and self-collar with stay and stand provides a polished look, even if your game isn't. The mini stripe print starts about mid chest and runs down to the bottom of the shirt, creating a unique look and an embroidered Ogio logo on the back of the neck identifies the brand. The Ewan Polo is available in sizes L - XXL and in three color combinations: Lead/Black, Seaport/Moroccan and Tibetan/Bordeaux. Retail Price is $74.99.

The Flier Shorts sport a heathered look and pair well with the Ewan Polo. The lightweight twill fabric is 100% polyester and stretch woven, so it won't pinch or bid during your golf swing. The moisture wicking properties of the fabric keep you cool and dry throughout the round. There are two deep front pockets to keep valuables safe and secure and two welted back pockets. All four pockets feature soft tricot pocket liners. The Flier Shorts come in waist sizes 32 - 40 and in Black/Lead. Retail price is $74.99. These shorts are perfect for all on course and off course activities.

So, first of all, the Lachlan Pullover is only a pullover if you're too lazy to unzip it all the way, which, in my estimation is a lot easier than pulling it off over your head. As outer pieces go in this day and age, the Lachlan is heavy, compared to similar products. That being said, the Lachlan Pullover is definitely going to keep you warm in colder weather, especially with the zipper running all the way up the collar and the elastic on the waist and cuffs. The 95% Polyester/5% Spandex material has ample stretch to eliminate pinching and binding and the built-in UV protection keeps the sun's harmful rays at bay. There is a total of five pockets; two zippered pockets on the front, one on either side on the inside and a smaller, zippered pocket high on the right chest. As far as looks go, it is a great looking piece with a contrasting heather piece that runs up the back of each arm and across the back shoulders and creates a nice contrast to the rest of the jacket. The Lachlan Pullover is available in sizes Large and XL and in Lead/Black. Retail price is $79.99.

It's about time a golf apparel company offered something like this. Ogio's new Cinch Belt uses ratchet belt technology, putting it in the one size fits all category. There are no belt holes, simply pass the leather strap through the buckle and you'll hear a familiar ratcheting sound. To undo the belt, just pull the lever on the bottom of the buckle and the belt comes free of the ratchet and undoes easily. The genuine leather strap comes in one length, simply cut it at the buckle end to get your size. The "Yeah, It's Leather" strap is the same width as other ratchet belt manufacturers, making the buckles interchangeable. The Ogio Cinch Belt is available in Black and a couple of different buckles are available. Retail price is $50 and could make this the last belt you'll ever need. They just simply don't wear out!
