Under Armour Golf Apparel for 2021
Look Straight Ahead
By David Theoret
Under Amour has been cladding golfers in stylish golf apparel for years and their Women's UA Links Ankle Pant has been some of their best apparel to date. Maybe the reason for this is that it's plain and simple. It's sewn from a flexible, lightweight fabric that stretches with you on every swing and keeps you comfortable and playing your best. Better yet, this fabric wicks sweat away from the body and dries quickly. The waistband is stretch engineered for superior mobility and incredible comfort. The two front pockets are zipped, and the back pocket is hidden. The matte finish is a nice touch. The UA Links Ankle Pant is available in sizes 0 - 16 and in Lichen Blue/Enamel Blue or Black/Black/Black.
Cool weather calls for warm clothing and Under Armour's Meridian Boot Cut fill the bill nicely. The specially engineered fabric delivers a unique type of softness, yet wicks sweat with the best of them, and the anti-odor technology prevents odor-causing microbes. The high-rise waist delivers optimal coverage & support with built-in pocket on the left side. They are available in sizes XS - XXL and in Black.
Under Armour has also introduced a couple of new tops for the ladies. The UA Zinger Long Sleeve Polo is so comfortable it's bound to become your go to top. The extra-stretchy fabric moves with you, not against you, so you never feel held back on the course. The anti-pick, anti-pill fabric is soft to the touch and extremely breathable & lightweight. With all of its technology it'll keep you cool, dry and odor-free and the UPF 30 sun protection keeps the sun's harmful rays at bay. The Zinger Long Sleeve Polo is available in sizes S - XL and in Seaglass Blue/Lichen Blue.
The ladies' Rival Polo is sewn from a textured fabric that's soft, light & breathable. It wicks moisture away quickly keeping you cool and dry and smelling fresh. The mesh insets on sleeves cuffs for added breathability and the elongated pocket is perfect for all of your golf valuables. The dropped scoop hem gives added coverage. The Rival Polo is available in sizes XS - 3XL and in Carolina Blue, Tropic Pink, and Steeltown Gold.
Most guys don't consider a shirt that buttons down the front a golf shirt and I must say I agree with them. And although you're not likely to wear it on the golf course, Under Armour's Tide Chaser 2.0 Long Sleeve shirt is about as comfortable as you can find. It has all the technology found in their best-selling golf polos - moisture wicking, anti-odor, and UPF 30 sun protection as well as a couple of added features. The stretch mesh panels provide added ventilation, a roll-up sleeve loop and button give added ventilation. Then there's the secure chest pocket and hidden snap-down collar. The fabric has a stain release property that keeps blood, dirt from and grime from soaking in. This wonderful garment is available in sizes, S - 3XL and in 8 colors.
The UA Men's Braided Belt 2.0 is built with a totally adjustable, quick-and-easy clasp, that gives you a perfect fit every time. Even though it was designed for flexibility on the golf course, it'll probably end up as a daily favorite. The leather end pieces convey an elevated style, and the metal buckle features a debossed UA wordmark. The Braided Belt is available in sizes 30 - 42 and in Black, White, Pitch Gray, or Academy.
You'll be hard pressed to find a long sleeve polo that delivers as much comfort as Under Armour's 2.0 Long Sleeve Polo. The 4-way stretch construction moves with you in every direction and the soft anti-pick, anti-pill fabric has a clean, snag-free finish. The fabric quickly wicks moisture away keeping you cool and dry, while keeping you smelling your best. The UPF 30 sun protection keeps your skin safe. The UA Playoff 2.0 Polo is available in sizes S - 3XL and in White, Black, or Academy.
I've always been a big fan of the company's shorts and the Men's UA Showdown Golf Shorts don't disappoint. These ultra-comfortable shorts are built with a high-performance, mobile fabric, a stretch waistband, and a new streamlined fit to reduce drag on every swing. They move with you no matter where you go or what you do. They have a flat front with a 4-pocket design. The Showdown Golf Shorts are available in sizes 30 - 46 and in 8 different colors.
Leggings have gained a lot of popularity lately, especially among women. And what better place to show off your new attire than on the golf course? UA's Women's Meridian Leggings are engineered from a specialty fabric that is soft and supple to the touch yet wicks away moisture with the best of them. Fitted: They feature a streamlined fit that's neither too tight nor too loose, thanks to the added support in the fabric. The 4-way stretch in the fabric lets you move easily in any direction. The high-rise waist band stretches as you put it on, and stays put. There's also a built-in pocket on the left side of the waistband. The anti-microbial finish keeps you smelling fresh. The Meridian Leggings are available in 18 different sizes (Short/Medium/Long; XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL) and in 6 vibrant colors.

About: David Theoret
David Theoret has been in the golf and golf travel industry for over 10 years, primarily selling online advertising. For the past seven years, he has also been a golf writer, reviewing golf courses, resorts, destinations, equipment, golf apparel, and training aids - the latter of which never seems to help. David's articles and reviews have been posted on many golf travel and equipment websites.
Growing up in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, it was naturally assumed he would play hockey. Beginning at the age of 3 and continuing into his late 30's, he did just that. However, after one too many pucks to the head, he realized that golf was a lot easier on the body (whoever said hockey players were slow) and took the game up.
After moving to Florida and accepting a position with TravelGolf Media (now part of GolfNow) his love for the game grew exponentially. Most Saturdays you will find him on a course somewhere in Florida or on the practice range reinforcing his bad habits. David plays to a 10 handicap - unless there is money involved in which case it goes considerably higher. He currently resides in Lakeland, FL with his wife Belinda and their two "kids", Madyson and Molly.
