The ultimate golf vacation is staying and playing at a golf resort. Below is an interview with Jason Stilley who shares some valuable information about staying and golfing at Rend Lake Golf Resort.

Give our readers an overview of the golf resort.
Large bent grass greens averaging 7,500 square feet per green. Zoysia fairways and tees. Numerous water hazards, with five sets of tees for golfers of all skill levels. Wide continuous cart paths throughout. Meticulous landscaping creating a mature, natural setting. A state of the art, lighted driving range and practice facility with raised target greens.

Share with us your room accommodations configurations. What group sizes can accommodate?
We have 48 hotel rooms, 24 condos, a Manor House, and 4 cabins.
With availability, we can accommodate most any size group.

What type of restaurants do you have on property and what type of dining experience can one expect?
Seasons Restaurant is located at the Rend Lake Golf Complex. Seasons Restaurant is a full-service restaurant and sports bar. It also has a banquet facility that can accommodate approximately 200 people.

Beyond golf what are the top three amenities golfers and non-golfers can enjoy on property?
No matter what activity you enjoy while spending your time outdoors, you will find it here. We have an outdoor Pool and a Jacuzzi within its own gazebo, bike trails, tennis/basketball courts.

Please supply a sample itinerary for a long buddies weekend?
Arrive on scene late morning to early afternoon on Friday, check into the lodge and catch 18 holes of golf. After golf enjoy dinner at Seasons Restaurant.

Saturday, wake up early enough to have breakfast at Seasons Restaurant, play 27 holes of golf and enjoy dinner again at Seasons. If you were to choose to leave Rend Lake Golf Resort, there's Pheasant Hollow Winery just 1 1/2 miles for Rend Lake Golf Resort. After your visit at the winery, enjoy a good night's sleep at the lodge.

Sunday, arrive early for breakfast at Seasons Restaurant and follow up with 18 holes before departing home.

In 2004, Brian turned his golf passion into a business, launching GolfWisconsin.com. Three years later, he expanded his vision, and GolfTrips.com was born—a one-stop shop for golf travel junkies looking for their next tee time. Today, his empire spans all 50 states, and 20+ international destinations.

On the course, Brian is a weekend warrior who oscillates between a 5 and 9 handicap, depending on how much he's been traveling (or how generous he’s feeling with his scorecard).
