Epic Golf Club - A Premier National Membership and Private Golf Society

FAQ's About Membership and Why Join

By Brian Weis

Epic Golf Club is a premier professional membership group for executives who love golf. If you are a member at a private golf club and believe that you can forge lasting personal and professional relationships through the game, then Epic Golf is what you've been missing.

Epic will connect you with other executives from across the country that could offer mutually beneficial business, strategy, or partnership opportunities all while playing some of the best courses in the country.

Below is an interview with Anthony Arvidson, Director of Customer Experience at Epic Golf Club, who provides some answers to frequently asked questions about membership and why you should join.

What is Epic Golf Club?
Epic Golf Club is a professional private society of like-minded golfers and business executives who are all members of private golf clubs all across the world. Our main objective is to connect members together with one another to build business and personal relationships while playing high end private golf clubs.

How many private clubs are in the network?
There are currently around 200 private clubs in our network. We have expanded overseas as well, to the UK, The Netherlands, Germany, and China. While we are mainly based out of the U.S., our goal is to have a solid network of clubs and executives all across the world.

What does membership cost?
There is an initiation fee and annual subscription based on which part of the world the member is based and how many executives we have in that geography or industry already. As a member, you get access to all clubs in the network as well as invites to all our private events, website content and the opportunity to network with other members who could potentially become a business opportunity!

How can I see a list of the clubs in your network?
To setup a screen share to view the private golf clubs we have, please email Noah@epicgolfclub.com or Anthony@epicgolfclub.com and we will respond to setup a time

Do you have any ambassadors?
Yes, Ken Duke and Andres Gonzales are our two ambassadors. Ken is a PGA Tour winner of the 2013 Travelers Championship, and Andres has 2 wins on the Web.com Tour. We are very happy and lucky to have both of them on board with Epic Golf Club. Members have the option to be hosted by both Ken and Andres. Ken is at The Floridian in Stuart, FL and Andres is at Tacoma G&CC and FirCrest CC in Tacoma, WA.

Why should I join Epic Golf Club?
If you enjoy meeting other business executives, playing high end private golf clubs, and going to fun events a few times per year at amazing venues, then there is no reason NOT to join! If you like to travel, and meet great people, this is the club for you.

Where can I apply?
Please visit epicgolfclub.com/about-us to see a welcome video from Ken Duke, and fill out an application for membership. Once approved, you are all set!

About: Brian Weis

Brian Weis Brian Weis is the mastermind behind GolfTrips.com, a vast network of golf travel and directory sites covering everything from the rolling fairways of Wisconsin to the sunbaked desert layouts of Arizona. If there’s a golf destination worth visiting, chances are, Brian has written about it, played it, or at the very least, found a way to justify a "business trip" there.

As a card-carrying member of the Golf Writers Association of America (GWAA), International Network of Golf (ING), Golf Travel Writers of America (GTWA), International Golf Travel Writers Association (IGTWA), and The Society of Hickory Golfers (SoHG), Brian has the credentials to prove that talking about golf is his full-time job. In 2016, his peers even handed him The Shaheen Cup, a prestigious award in golf travel writing—essentially the Masters green jacket for guys who don’t hit the range but still know where the best 19th holes are.

Brian’s love for golf goes way back. As a kid, he competed in junior and high school golf, only to realize that his dreams of a college golf scholarship had about the same odds as a 30-handicap making a hole-in-one. Instead, he took the more practical route—working on the West Bend Country Club grounds crew to fund his University of Wisconsin education. Little did he know that mowing greens and fixing divots would one day lead to a career writing about the best courses on the planet.

In 2004, Brian turned his golf passion into a business, launching GolfWisconsin.com. Three years later, he expanded his vision, and GolfTrips.com was born—a one-stop shop for golf travel junkies looking for their next tee time. Today, his empire spans all 50 states, and 20+ international destinations.

On the course, Brian is a weekend warrior who oscillates between a 5 and 9 handicap, depending on how much he's been traveling (or how generous he’s feeling with his scorecard). His signature move" A high, soft fade that his playing partners affectionately (or not-so-affectionately) call "The Weis Slice." But when he catches one clean, his 300+ yard drives remind everyone that while he may write about golf for a living, he can still send a ball into the next zip code with the best of them.

Whether he’s hunting down the best public courses, digging up hidden gems, or simply outdriving his buddies, Brian Weis is living proof that golf is more than a game—it’s a way of life.
