Marquette County, MI is the ultimate destination to enjoy a golfing getaway this spring season. Located on Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Marquette County invites visitors to come experience the area's premier golfing, picturesque location and charming small-town setting. Golfers will delight in a range of courses available to them, including the award-winning Marquette Golf Club's award-winning Greywalls and Heritage courses, each set against a stunning natural backdrop featuring breathtaking views of Lake Superior, tumbling greens and dramatic elevation changes for an exceptional golf experience.

Additional courses in the area include the Northern Michigan University Golf Course, the Red Fox Run Golf Course and Wawonowin Country Club. The picturesque Northern Michigan University Golf Course was designed by the award-winning golf architects Jerry Matthews and Bruce Matthews III. The 18-hole, 72 par course is open to the public and measures more than 6,800 yards. The Red Fox Run Golf Course in Gwinn, carefully blends rolling fairways, rich woodlands and scenic wildlife. While slightly more challenging, the Red Fox Run Golf Course offers a fantastic panoramic golf experience. Golfers in the area will also want to visit the Wawonowin Country Club, one of the Upper Peninsula's premier 18-hole semi-private courses located in Champion.

After a day on the links, Marquette's charming and historic downtown awaits travelers to unwind and trade stories at the area's local breweries, restaurants and shopping. Spanning 1,872 square miles, Marquette County is comprised of many small communities that showcase the very best of the Upper Peninsula including Ishpeming, Negaunee, Harvey, Gwinn and Michigamme Township, in addition to downtown Marquette.
