From Seattle: Anchorage is about 1,440 driving miles north via AK-route and ferry/road combinations, but typically reached by flight rather than road.
From Fairbanks: Around 260 miles north via Parks Highway, about a 4- to 5-hour drive.
From Kenai: Approximately 160 miles south by road, about 3 hours drive.
From Wasilla: Roughly 40 miles north on the Glenn and Parks Highways, about 45 minutes drive.
From Palmer: About 45 miles north via Glenn Highway, around 1 hour drive.
