The capital of Tennessee, Nashville, has certainly earned the nickname Music City. And the Opryland Hotel Gardens is a stunningly understated name for the overwhelming amount of family fun that the place generates. The high parking fee will likely smart, but the rest of the attraction will more than make up for the outlay.
Located about 20 minutes from Nashville in Mount Juliet, Pine Creek Golf Course is the area's best-kept secret. For a stiffer test, golfers should try Nashboro Golf Club, which features a back-tee slope of 134. Beginning golfers or those looking to shoot personal-best rounds should visit Hunter's Point Golf Club in Lebanon, which features a slope of 110. Let 'er rip!
