Why become a member at the Legacy? Cragun's Legacy is the ultimate GOLF facility in the Brainerd Lakes Area. After the Tom Lehman design is complete, our members will have 45 holes of championship golf with the Dutch 27 and Lehman 18.

We offer many different membership options to fit you & your family's golfing needs. The Legacy provides a perfect place to meet new people and enjoy the game of golf. We want our members to feel like they are part of a private club combined with the feel of a true Minnesota golf resort. We look forward to you joining us at the Legacy in 2023.

Golf Instruction and Lessons

Chris Foley Golf Instruction
Craguns Legacy Courses, partnering with Chris Foley Golf, offers the finest golf instruction in the Midwest. With PGA Master Professional of Instruction Chris Foley and a staff of six PGA Professionals and Apprentices, Cragun's Legacy Courses offers a wide variety of instruction. Golf instruction includes private lessons, club fitting, group lessons, resort guest clinics, game improvement series, junior golf program and overnight golf schools. With a two-sided driving range, short game area, and a Par 3 course, there is a great opportunity to create a total golf learning environment.

The focus of our instruction is based on the individual's goals and ability level, while always adhering to the proper fundamentals of golf. Chris Foley's golf methods are based on helping the golfer learn why their golf ball is going where it is and ultimately diagnosing and correcting their own swing. Chris Foley uses state of the art, computerized, video equipment which gives the student valuable feedback that dramatically speeds up the learning process.

One of our most popular outdoor wedding venues in MN is the patio of Cragun's Legacy Clubhouse overlooking the manicured grounds of our Cragun's Legacy Golf Courses. With a variety of on-site locations to choose from, your reception could take place just inside in the Legacy Pavilion. The Pavilion also provides great back-up in case of inclement weather.

If a beach wedding has always been your dream, an outdoor ceremony under our swaying willows with Gull Lake as your backdrop is the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony. There is easy access right into our Main Lodge building for your reception (and this facility offers back-up in case of weather issues).

Cragun's specializes in Minnesota Destination Wedding Weekends. Our on-site coordinator works with each couple to customize a package with activities to fit the season. For a spring, summer or fall wedding, your guests will love a weekend getaway at Cragun's complete with a Beach BBQ for the Rehearsal Dinner. An informal golf outing or a mini-retreat for the wedding party is also a great way to get everyone involved, having fun and relaxing prior to the big event!
