I Feel the Other Reviewers are Being Unfair
Today was the first time we had golfed Deer Haven. The scenery was wonderful. The course was in very good shape, considering the rain the area got in June. It appears the owners and staff take very good care of the course. Is it a Brown Deer or Erin Hills? No, but for $28.00 for a weekend Tee Time in the greater Milwaukee area, I think it was fair. There were some small flaws, as with any course. It is tough to battle animal damage and stay within the law. But isn't that part of the draw of a course like Deer Haven? It was a very relaxing day on the course. And for the last poster's comment about understanding why the course wasn't busy, we had groups before us and behind us. The pace of play however was not rushed. My wife and I had a great time and we will go back.
