Caledonia Golf & Fish Club Celebrates 20th Anniversary With Special Rates
Spectacular Pawleys Island, S.C., Course Offers 1994 Prices on 6 Dates in January and February
Caledonia Golf & Fish Club is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2014 by offering Way-back Wednesdays" specials, including 1994 greens fees, on six consecutive Wednesdays beginning Jan. 8.
Way-back Wednesdays enables us to celebrate a milestone anniversary for Caledonia Golf & Fish Club and provide incredible values as a gift to our customers, who have been so supportive over the last 20 years," said Caledonia PGA director of golf operations Bob Seganti.
Currently ranked amongst the top 100 public-access and/or resort courses in the country by Golfweek (No. 25), Golf Magazine (No. 27) and Golf Digest (No. 97) the spectacular Pawleys Island, S.C., layout, crafted through pristine marshes, freshwater creeks and huge live oaks by architect Mike Strantz, opened early in 1994. The former rice plantation had been used for hunting prior to the building of the golf course.
Way-back Wednesdays merchandise specials will include 20th anniversary polo shirts from $19.94, 20th anniversary caps from $9.94, 20th anniversary coins from $2.94 and 20th anniversary pints from $1.94.
Caledonia makes an awe-inspiring first impression from the clubs entrance, a shaded half-mile trip back in time on a road shaded by rows of live oaks on both sides, which leads to a stately antebellum-style clubhouse. After completing a round, golfers can enjoy food and drink from a cozy wrap-around porch just paces behind the 18th green.
